Sex Nerds Professional Discussion Group

Meet-up with the Community!

Our team organizes a regular Sex Nerd Discussion Group to create an opportunity for educators, facilitators, health professionals, experts, and those with a strong interest in healthy sexuality and relationships to build community. We gather every other month on zoom to discuss topics, support each other, share ideas, and hopefully learn something. This year’s sessions  will be a mix of discussions, skill shares, and guest lectures/panels.

If you are a self-described Sex Nerd, we'd love to include you in the conversation!

Please complete this brief survey so we can get to know you a bit better.

One popular French term for orgasm is “le petit mort”, or “the little death”. Let’s explore the erotic allure of the macabre together!

Practicing gratitude regularly has proven mental health benefits; that’s why it’s part of More Than Sex-Ed’s regular staff meetings. Saying thanks can improve our relationships with others, and with ourselves. This meet-up will discuss ways to cultivate gratitude in our own lives, and teach it to the children and youth entrusted to our care.

This month, Sex Nerds will learn from some professionals in the field about their work behind the camera, and discuss how artists can tell stories with adult themes, but without exploitation.
